Reflections

I was quite frustrated reaching the end of Week 2 and get this message:

The course seemed too short, and the doubt remained whether I had to upgrade to

have access to the contents of these 2 weeks or to have access to more content.

Either way I found the course too incipient approaching general principles with a

focus, in the 1st week, on the Convention of People with Disabilities and on general

concepts about Inclusive Education.

At the end of Week 2, participants were invited to join another course, by another professor

of the same university, but a paid course.

I regret that the institutions are now turning MOOCs into advertising means to capture

business. I think that MOOCs should serve a higher purpose of givind an opportunity

for learning to a wider audience, that is, to remain «open» and «massive».

This course had few participants interacting, so it was not that massive. Perhaps for some

of the participants  this general approach to inclusive education was relevant.

The fact that FutureLearn platform is based on discussion is a plus. Nonetheless, the course

provided a few interesting resources, which I've shared with my community of teachers.
